Yesterday, Birdie was announced as being one of the 12 businesses Amazon Web Services selected to be part of their inaugural UK AWS Healthcare Accelerator programme.
At Birdie, our ambition has always been to help older adults live longer, happier and healthier at home. For that to happen, we believe we need to help care agencies provide personalised care pathways. And for us, this starts by using our platform to recommend tailored care pathways based on a care recipient’s health and needs and for us being part of the AWS accelerator is the first step to doing this.
Max Parmentier, Birdie CEO, had this to say:
I'm really excited that we’ve been selected by the first-ever AWS UK Healthcare Accelerator, one of the two in the world, to collectively work on achieving better health outcomes and lowering the cost of care. We have started working intensively with the PUBLIC and AWS teams to shape the care pathway of the future and improve the lives of our elders.
We also want to take this opportunity to invite you to the AWS UK Healthcare Accelerator demo day where we'll be showcasing the Birdie platform's capabilities and our vision for integrated health and care systems. Click here to register for the event.
