Birdie is ISO 27001 certified!

So...what does that mean for our partners?

Partner trust and data security are critical to everything we do at Birdie, and being ISO 27001 certified is a key milestone in our commitment to ensuring maximum data security for our partners.

What is ISO 27001?

ISO 27001 is a leading information security standard, set out by the International Organisation for Standardisation (ISO). This standard and associated requirements provides a model for companies to protect their business, the information the business have and the information and data of it's partners.

What does the certification process involve?

Organisations must go through a series of third-party, external audits in order to gain certification. These audits assess whether a company has appropriate processes and protocols, as part of its Information Security Management System, in place to protect and safeguard across three main areas: a company’s security and integrity, its availability, and its confidentiality.

To achieve the ISO 27001 certification, Birdie went through an audit process with Prescient Security and Vanta, who are global leaders in security and compliance.

Technology plays a critical role in the health and safety of - and in providing necessary care for - older adults. At Birdie, the health and wellbeing of the care recipients supported by our platform is our top priority, and we continue to keep security central to how we build our product.
