Is this compliant?
Yes. We build our products with clinical safety and data privacy in mind from start to finish. We follow DCB0129 processes, which informed the risk-based approach in SmartPlans, and we work with our Data Protection Officer to ensure your data is managed safely and in line with GDPR.
Isn't AI too risky for clinical assessments?
That's why we built SmartPlans the way we did. For high-risk clinical questions, you write the answers yourself. For complex judgements, SmartPlans highlights relevant quotes, but you write the answer. Only standard, lower-risk questions get an AI suggestion, and you must review and confirm every single one. It's smart assistance, not dangerous automation.
We already use another transcription tool. How does SmartPlans compare?
We've heard that with standalone tools, you save time recording but then spend it searching and copy-pasting into Birdie. SmartPlans solves this: it's built directly into your workflow, and the whole team can access transcripts, which isn't always possible with other systems.
