Using tech
The AI Benchmark asks you the same nine questions we put to 122 UK homecare providers in our AI research, then shows you where you land against them. It's free, there's nothing to download, and we compare you against agencies of your size rather than the whole sector, so the number means something.
Here's what you get:
- Your score out of 12, from the same nine questions we asked the sector
- Your percentile, so you know how many agencies you're ahead of
- A breakdown across four areas: what you've adopted, how deeply your team uses it, what you've written down, and what you're investing
- A comparison against agencies of your size, not a national average that flattens everyone together
- One thing to start with, based on where you scored lowest
Your score is free and appears as soon as you finish. The full breakdown takes a few details first.
Who this is for
- Agency owners and managing directors who want to know whether their AI spend is ahead of the sector or behind it
- Registered managers reviewing what their team is already using, including the tools nobody signed off
- Operations and leadership teams building a case for AI investment, or working out what to do first
You don't need to be using AI already to take it. Plenty of the agencies we surveyed weren't, and the tool tells them where that puts them too.
Why use it now
Most of what's written about AI in social care describes the sector in general. That's useful background and it changes nothing about your Monday. This gives you a number for your agency, and a specific place to start.
Knowing where you sit makes the next decision easier, whether that's writing your first AI policy, training your team on tools they already have, or deciding what to put in next year's budget.
