The Provider Information Return (PIR) is an annual requirement for adult social care providers in England to submit information to the Care Quality Commission (CQC). It asks for details about how your service is performing across safety, effectiveness, responsiveness, and leadership, and helps the CQC prioritise inspections and assess care quality nationally.

Is the PIR report available on all Birdie plans?
The PIR report is available to partners on Core, Advanced, and Plus plans. If you’re unsure whether it’s included in your current package, your Customer Success Manager can confirm what is available to you.
