Norfolk Care Association Conference

The Norfolk Care Leaders Summit is an unmissable event for social care providers, commissioners, and system partners across Norfolk.

Since its founding, the Norfolk Care Association has brought care professionals together for open, collaborative events and this year is no exception. The Summit replaces in-person subgroups with one inclusive space for providers to connect across services, using an Open Space format where attendees shape the agenda on the day. The morning is dedicated to providers only, with commissioners and system partners joining at lunch for shared afternoon sessions covering topics including workforce and recruitment, financial sustainability, commissioning frameworks, and CQC inspection.

Date: 14th May 2026

Time: 10:00am–4:30pm (lunch included)

Location: The King's Centre, Norwich

Tickets: Free for members— registration required

Some of the topics that will be discussed (on the day, attendees will have the opportunity to add topics too):

  • Finding and keeping the people we need – recruitment, retention and what is actually working
  • International recruitment – where are we now? – navigating visa changes, support gaps and building a sustainable approach
  • Living with the commissioning frameworks – what is working, what isn’t, and what needs to change
  • Making the money work – financial sustainability, diversifying income and managing rising costs
  • CQC and PAMMS – learning from inspection – experiences, preparation tips and what good looks like
  • Demonstrating what we do – measuring and communicating outcomes and impact
  • Is it rocket science? – sharing ideas that have made a real difference
  • Putting people first – client and community engagement that genuinely shapes what we do
  • Stronger together – building peer support, shared resource and a more connected provider community across Norfolk
  • Shame, shock and shouldn’t be allowed – productive social care campaigning approaches
