Think about the last supervision you ran. Part of you was listening, and part of you was writing. Then someone typed it all up, usually after everyone else had gone home. First assessments go the same way: the visit is the part that counts, and the write-up comes on top.

From today, SmartMeetings takes on that write-up for your meetings, inside Birdie. It sits alongside SmartPlans, which already does the same for first assessments.

SmartMeetings: your meetings, written up for you

Choose the meeting type in the Birdie app, check everyone's happy to be recorded, and press record. Afterwards, the transcript and a summary written for that meeting are waiting in the Agency Hub. You check it, mark it as reviewed, and create the follow-up actions you agreed. They go straight into your Birdie Inbox, linked to the carer or person the meeting was about.

A record that stands up at inspection

Inspectors expect to see that supervisions, spot checks and team meetings happen, and that they lead somewhere. Too often the evidence is a handwritten note in one manager's notebook, a Word document on someone's laptop, or a meeting that never got written up at all.

With SmartMeetings, every meeting ends as a record in Birdie. When someone reviews the summary, their name and the time go on it, and every later edit is kept in the version history. The actions you agreed sit in your Birdie Inbox, so you can show what happened next as well as what was said. And when an inspector asks for last quarter's supervisions, you filter the Meetings tab by carer, meeting type or date.

SmartPlans: the answer in the right box

SmartPlans records a first assessment and suggests the answers directly in your Birdie assessment, each one cited back to what was said. High-risk clinical questions get no suggestion at all, and nothing is saved until you confirm it.

You stay in charge

Nothing counts as a record until a person has reviewed it, and everyone agrees before a recording starts. Audio is deleted after 60 days, and your data isn't used to train AI.
